Cellulose acetate is made from processed wood pulp. The pulp is processed using acetate anhydride (don’t ask us what that is!) to form acetate flake from which products are made from. As it is derived from wood pulp and non man-made fibres, it is natural and renewable material, providing an eco-friendly alternative to petroleum based materials!!
